We used www.dafont.com and photoshop to produce a suitable title style for our film name. At www.dafont.com there are a variety of font styles and colours to choose from. We used the graffiti style to emphasize on the ghetto gangster life. We took a picture of a fire ball from google as it shows the conflict between the two gangs. The title was then merged into the fire ball picture.

Watchmen opening sequence is cleverly done to look visually pleasing by use of cinematography and Mise en scene. each frame looks like your reading through the comic book.
Frame 1
Overhead shot of the comedian's blood stained smiley face badge. Sound effect of wind as the camera quickly zooms into an extreme close up then fades to black.
Frame 2
Nite Owl 1 punching a thug at Gothans Opera House and saving Mr and Mrs Wayne . Batman posters on the background. Bob Dylan's 'times are a changing' playing as non diegetic music over the shots throughout the title sequence. On scene camera lights flash onto the characters and sound effect of gun fire then slowly zooms out and fades to black.
Frame 3
Fades from black into light flashes from camera paparazzi into Silk Spectre 1 on steps with cops holding a newspaper headline. 'A lawrence Gordon/Lloyd Levin production' as titles at center of moving images. camera gradually zooms in then fades to black.
Frame 4
fade out from black revealing The Comedian posing with a captured criminal. 'A Zack Snyder film' title come up on bottom right of the film. sound effects of tommy gun fire. slowly zooms out and fades to black
Frame 5
Nite Owl 2 setting up automatic camera to photograph the watchmen group. The watchmen heroes re all dressed in their outfits representing their ultra ego.

In this comedy/action film, we are interested in the two gangs, and the way they are outfitted with costume and props, with one gang dressed in very formal clothing, whereas the other gang are dressed in their own casual clothing.

Main ideas:
General outline of movie: The movie is a British gangster genre, which revolves around the "Life in the day of" style of a drug dealer. The movie is set in the heart of St. Pauls, Bristol as this gives a general idea of the surrounding area and people. Throughout the film, the main character has various situations leading to conflict with the opposing gang. The two rival gangs are called "The Saints" and "The Black Stars". The two gangs have been tolerant with each other from a long family history. Until the meeting of the two opposing gang members start to have an affair with one of their daughters. Towards the end of the movie, it ends with a brutal killing of the member which catches up with the beginning of the movie.

In the film Shifty, it gives a very interesting insight into the a "Life in the day of" style of a drug dealer, how friendship and loyalty has great importance, and that he relies a lot on close friends.

In Memento's opening sequence, we are most interested last part of the opening sequence, where the extract is edited to reverse in time, this gives an interested aspect to the movie, as it shows the action he has committed first, then rewinds to show the viewer what the picture is really about.

The opening credits of Napoleon Dynamite has a very clever composition, as all of the credits are introduced in physical form, rather than the regular digital title sequences seen in most other opening sequences. Taking inspiration from this sequence, we can apply similar properties to our opening sequence.
